Corrosion Protection
All framework is constructed
from fully galvanised steel tube which is internally treated with
a rust preventative.
The completed frame
itself undergoes a specialised sealing process to prevent water
sitting between frame parts, before being fully treated with a
two-pack etch primer prior to its move to the panel section.
The elimination of
any side mouldings also helps avoid corrosion while a one-piece
fibreglass roof design prevents water ingress.
As a final preventative
measure all composite waste panels have a rebated lip built into
their profile that effectively stops any water entering the frame
from the vehicle's window fittings.
