Following an extensive research and development program, Northcoast has released one of the lightest and strongest frames available on the Australian market. This gives considerable scope for reduced operator costs while significantly improving the handling and breaking of the vehicle.

With a build weight of approximately 500-1000kg less than similar vehicles, Northcoast's Protégé has the potential to produce savings of up to 2.5 litres per 100km, while at the same time helping reduce emissions through greater fuel efficiencies.
